cry to me

cry to me
come when you need a friend
the day you no longer shine
my love yours to the end
yet your solitude is mine

cry to me
and i will see you through
we can never be lovers
yet i have called on you
us, soul-mates in our errors

cry to me
when you need company
these days i need your guidance
perfect in our empathy

cry to me
when you find no perfect
you have weaknesses i know
i can feel your defect
because you helped me so

cry to me
when you cannot be still
my twisted lover soul mate
i know in some age you will
but i do not believe in fate

Fifteen year old me exaggerated a tad in this one – we were not lovers.  At least, not in any sense that any normal person would consider as such.

About m

My ego wants to think I'm a writer but my heart knows I'm just another one of God's Kids who sometimes has words to say. 2 human kids and 3 feline kids call me Mom. Or Mooooooom. Or mewom, depending which you ask. My most recent completed endeavor was finishing BA's in Religious Studies and American Studies. I don't remember what free time is but I think I like to spend it sleeping or playing in the mud on a river bank.
